Hello again. It has been a few months since I've written anything so I might as well update on what is going on.
You can blame me for getting a broken ankle and getting occupied with college as the main culprits for my absence on this website. I have barely been able to write any new content and I am currently uncertain how the approaching summer will go. I will be working through summer for a while and hopefully I can spend some time improving my creative writing skills.
"Stray" is no longer taking the multiple author approach. It will be a fanfiction story from the viewpoint of Orion the Absol. If channagirl wills it, she may write out her own plot from the viewpoint of Channa the Luxio. But if you wish to write a parallel story from your character's viewpoint, speak to us in the chatroom first.
So what next? Well, since I am only left with one willing writer... the forums might go away along with a couple of outdated web pages. The chatroom is still somewhat active but if you wish to RP with us, you are welcome to drop by.
"Stray is currently being worked on at Fanfiction.net if you haven't read that already. I am also working on a one-shot Pokémon fanfic, currently labeled "Adagio", as to establish a short story. From now on, this website will stick to just being a storage medium for my stories.

"A New Beginning" by Shadowwolf - 01/13/2012
As expected, a large number of Writers has been removed as part of the cleanup leaving us with only a few. The story now requires a large revamp in order to work out the now apparent plot holes, leaving behind a possibility that the ending result will differ greatly from the previous version. To those who have been removed, speak to me in the chatroom if you feel like you should receive Writer status back. You know what I expect as stated on the previous notice.
Where to go from here: the website's design may be cleaned up to be more versatile and may have more content that is not related to Stray in order for the site to be more noticeable. I am hoping for an original banner to be completed soon. If any new person stops by, you are welcome to come to the chatroom and ask how to be a Writer.
To the past Writers: thank you very much for spending time with this project. I am sorry we are not able to see this to the end. I wish you all a Happy New Year and a safe life.
"IMPORTANT: Stray Writer Status" by Shadowwolf - 11/23/2011
I have urgent news to bring up. First, let me say that "Stray" has been struggling for about a year to be its own independent site. Thank goodness, the site still lives but now some business is in order. The overall writing activity has declined severely since the move. Understandably, a lot of us are moving on with life or have been experiencing problems beyond our control. Unfortunately, I feel that I need to have the current writer roster cleaned up because we just have people listed and not doing much of anything.
THIS IS REQUIRED IF YOU WANT STAY A WRITER! You have until the end of this year to have a new story part posted, or else you will have your Writer status removed. The following people are safe due to having posted on Chapter 7:

If you want your Writer status back, find me on the site's Chat and make an appeal. What I expect: going back to activity and you coming up with plans to move forward. "New Website Updates!" by Shadowwolf - 11/15/2011
Yep, just doing some cleaning up and adding new content. Let me start with the major stuff.
First off, I added in all of the recent stories posted for Chapters 6 and 7 so we currently have everything backed up. That is all I have to say about that.
The links below the home page have been re-ordered and separated into categories. I revamped the credits page to update our current roster of writers as well as dividing up the proper credentials. Two new web pages have been created: one for "Tips for Roleplaying" and another for "Trivia/References". "Tips for Roleplaying" is a MUST-READ if you want to be able to do mechanics, character interactivity and dialogue well. These will assist you for utilizing common knowledge of "Stray" to be credible. "Trivia/References" was a page from the old site design fished back out; basically, all it is point out allusions of the story to give readers an understanding on where we got some of our inspirations from. There is also a link for "Tips on Writing a Story", which takes you to another site; this site provides help with writing about plot, setting and character (all essential to fiction writing).
My final update is fixing up the special characters scattered throughout the chapters that randomly appear as question marks. If you have found a punctuation mark that seems out of place, please let me know so that I may fix it.
I have more stuff to tell. First, I already mentioned I have a Twitter account set up. If you use Twitter often, go ahead and follow me because I use it to post some updates. I also created a Facebook group if you are a Facebook user, so go ahead and request to join. In the same manner as Twitter, I will be posting updates in the group.
And finally, I would like to let you all know that the Chat is holding RP (roleplaying) sessions every other night, where we play out random scenes for the story. ANYONE is welcome to join in, even if you are not officially a writer for the story or if you have no RP'ing experience. I can guarantee that this will help with exchange of ideas and improving your writing skills. All you need to do is participate.

Hey, everyone. I hope you enjoyed your Halloween. It has been a while since I posted anything so I might as well make one now.
Business has been going on as usual for me. At the moment, I would say "Stray" is getting a more defined direction on the story path. I compiled all of my ideas into a coherent set of guidelines in which I should easily follow, so I set a little goal for myself that I will have at least one new short story posted each week. I am also getting a little more inspired than usual so who knows… I might make it as more productive than expected. Make use of it if you wish. Very easy to use, helpful program. Others things I plan to do: if I get a story part out of the way, I will try invest some time in promoting this site and our story. I've been wanting to make a promotional video to post on Youtube for some time and I would say this little thing might actually get us more readers in the long run. We also got a fair amount of some exposure over fanfiction.net and I am thinking to continue posting more of our written material there. I may even work on cleaning up the site and see if I can get rid of any leftover errors.

"Where Do I Start?" by Shadowwolf: Confused about this website? Read this for a moment. "Stray" is a Pokémon Roleplaying/FanFiction hybrid story with a darker and more original setting. There are multiple writers for "Stray" that each have a main character that he/she sticks with in the whole project, and occasionally these characters interact with each other in a similar style to roleplaying. At the same time, "Stray" revolves around a war-based plot with a colorful and atmospheric setting, contains many Pokémon species characters and progresses like a novel, making it a "FanFiction". The whole story progresses with one author posting a story, another one posting a story, and so on.
This website holds a large collection of Stray stories that have already been written and edited for grammar errors. It is the home site of the project and holds all sorts of important info pertaining to it. To start reading the story, click the "Chapters" button. Most of our work is done on the forums. This website is constructed with HTML, CSS and PHP (as well as a hint of Javascript) and I admit my own web work on this site is not very professional, so some conveniences most professional websites would have may not be available here. Telume is the creator of the current layout and I usually add in the content. I'm still independently learning web design so I cannot produce the best possible results here. I do welcome any suggestions to help make this website better.
Each chapter contains multiple stories, each following a different character of the same world but of a parallel storyline. Some of these "parallels" may "cross over" to have different main characters meet. We are a developing writing group so some of the early stories submitted in may not be immediately attention-grabbing (some of them are currently getting re-written now), but I assure that our stories are getting better with each chapter. That is all there is to it.
If you like "Stray" and you want to actually be a writer in it: please register for the forums, introduce yourself, and submit a story sample under the "Tryouts" forum. It will be the best idea to get in contact with me through e-mail or the forums to let me know what your goals are. Be sure to read the rules.
If you have more questions and would like to know more about the project and even the content in the story, view the FAQs page. I really appreciate it if you like the stories. If you will like to return the favor, please spread the word across the net or to your friends OR at the very least vote on the topsites below. Some fan support can really help this project move along. I am quite a busy individual and I spend a little time every day to contribute to the project whenever possible. While I write and manage stories, I also edit stories to be posted on the website, set up various media, and build this site. It's a lot of tedious work but I'm learning new tricks over time. I will keep working to make this a noteworthy fan-fiction story.
